Why do we want to ride the PCT?

People often ask us “why?” when we tell them we want to ride our bikes along the Pacific Crest. There are innumerable reasons, ranging from the incredibly simple to the philosophically complex and everything and anything else in between. We are but a small sample of the cycling community, and we have our reasons for exploring such an epic trail system, but we also recognize there is a much larger cycling community the world over, and for each rider out there, there is but just one more reason “why.” We invite you to share your “why” on our comments page and in the meantime, we’ll be posting up some of ours.
